Ahmedabad-based architect Bimal Patel has designed a project related to India's new Parliament House . The project has been named Central Vista Project by the Central Government covering various constructions including repair of old Parliament House and construction of new Parliament House. New Delhi, designed by British architect Edwin Lutyens in 1911, came into existence after the present Parliament building was constructed during 1921-27. The area from India Gate to Rashtrapati Bhavan was selected for renovation and was renamed as Central Vista. This area of New Delhi has been known by this name ever since.

Aji Riverfront will be constructed at a cost of over Rs.1000 crore
. The total cost of Aji Riverfront project is 1181 crore, of which Rs.191 crore has been demanded from the government under the current financial year 2021–22. The project is estimated to cost Rs 47 crore for drainage interceptor line, Rs 312 crore for wall and entry on both sides of Aji river, Rs 2.90 crore for water replacement network and Rs 53.90 crore for new road network on both sides of Aji river.
